Transfer Applications and Change of DPS

Entertainment License

You can apply to transfer the Premises Licence from one person to another or change the Designated Premises Supervisor by completing the online forms below.


 

To transfer a Premises Licence

  • The proposed licence holder must complete the online form and pay the statutory fee of £23.00
     
  • The existing licence holder must complete a transfer form and return the existing Premises Licence
     
  • The proposed licence holder must also supply a copy of the application form to the licensing department of the local Police. The Police have 14 days to submit an objection notice to the Licensing Authority if they feel the transfer will undermine the prevention of crime and disorder objective.

To change the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS)

  • The licence holder must complete the online form and pay the statutory fee of £23.00
     
  • The proposed Designated Premises Supervisor must complete a DPS consent form
     
  • The licence holder must return the existing Premises Licence
     
  • The licence holder must also supply a copy of the application form to the licensing department of the local Police. The Police have 14 days to submit an objection notice to the Licensing Authority if they feel the transfer will undermine the prevention of crime and disorder objective.
