PUBLIC NOTICE

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972, SECTION 122(2A)

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPROPRIATE LAND

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the Local Government Act 1972 Section 122(2A), Chiltern District Council intends to appropriate land forming part of the open space at King George V Playing Fields, Amersham and land to the rear of the electricity substation on Chiltern Avenue shown coloured green on the enclosed plan Icon for pdf 3615-ASP-S1-XX-DR-A-(08)90020-P01 [508.93KB]  ("the Land") for planning purposes.

The planning purposes are for the Land to form part of the proposed redevelopment of the Chiltern Pools and Gym, Bensheim Way, Amersham, HP6 5AH. The Land, which lies to the south of Chiltern Pools and Gym, measures approximately 6,870 square metres (excluding the car park which measures 1,064 square metres and the Amersham Library at Chiltern Avenue which measures 626 square metres).

The plan showing the location and extent of the land to be appropriated is also available for inspection at the Main Reception of Chiltern District Council, King George V House, King George V Road, Amersham, HP6 5AW between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday to Thursday and the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Friday.

Any representations or objections with respect to the proposed appropriation must be made in writing to Martin Holt, Head of Healthy Communities by post to Chiltern District Council, King George V Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, HP6 5AW or by email to community@chilternandsouthbucks.gov.uk  to be received no later than 7 June 2019.
